About the warranty

Why is there no manufacturer’s warranty?

Automakers are unable to provide an official warranty, even claiming “worldwide” support. The problem is that there is no functioning structure in Russia to fulfill such obligations. Even companies that have temporarily suspended operations do not guarantee customer service. At the same time, according to the Law on Consumer Protection, the buyer can request free repair of defects within two years from the date of purchase. Because of this, dealers register “gray” cars as used.

Vehicles with a mileage without a manufacturer’s warranty of no more than 10 years and a mileage of no more than 150,000 km

Foreign-made, imported into the territory of the Russian Federation as a parallel import in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 03/29/2022 No. 506 and not guaranteed by the manufacturer, including for commercial vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons

A car with an expired manufacturer’s warranty of no more than 10 years and a mileage of no more than 150,000 km
